Strengthening Biorisk Management Through ISO 35001 Training
A major focus of INTERCEPTOR’s Work Package 2 is the harmonisation of biorisk management practices across high-containment laboratories.
In this context, a dedicated ISO 35001:2019 training programme has been developed, including:
- A full training curriculum
- A gap analysis tool
- Templates for policies and standard operating procedures
These tools aim to support laboratories in implementing or improving compliance with the international biorisk management standard.
The project review identified the integration of ISO 35001 as a strong standardisation component supporting interoperability and global preparedness.
Training materials will be made available online after delivery to maximise impact and reusability.
