From 6–8 May 2025, the 3rd World Society for Virology (WSV) International Conference took place in Kuala Lumpur, hosted by the National Institutes of Biotechnology Malaysia (NIBM).
On Day 1, Dr. Diana Stepanyan, representing the European Research Infrastructure on Highly Pathogenic Agents (ERINHA), delivered a keynote presentation entitled:
🎤 “Fostering Global Pandemic Preparedness and Response Research on (Re)Emerging Viruses: European Perspective”
Her talk highlighted Europe’s efforts to strengthen global pandemic preparedness, foster collaborative research on emerging and re-emerging viruses, and showcased the important role of INTERCEPTOR in uniting high-containment laboratories worldwide.
