INTERCEPTOR Receives Positive First Project Review from the European Commission
INTERCEPTOR (Grant Agreement 101132215) has successfully completed its first periodic review under Horizon Europe, covering the period from January 2024 to June 2025.
The European Research Executive Agency (REA) concluded that the project is progressing satisfactorily and broadly in line with the Description of Action.
The review highlights several key achievements during the first reporting period, including:
- The establishment of governance and management structures
- The creation of a Community of Practice for High-Containment Laboratory (HCL) engineers
- The preparation of ISO 35001 training and leadership modules
- The development of the “Interceptor Inventory and Gap Analysis” survey
- Engagement with more than 20 international high-containment laboratories
This positive evaluation confirms INTERCEPTOR’s role in strengthening global cooperation and interoperability among high-containment research infrastructures.
